Graeme joined Semefab in 2017 as a Senior Process Engineer, progressing to Process & Development Engineering Manager, Chief Operating Officer and on to his current role as Chief Executive Officer. He also sits on the Board of Directors.
He graduated with BSc (Hons) in Applied Physics from Strathclyde University, Glasgow in 1988. Graeme started his process engineering career in the Semiconductor industry at GEC Hirst Research Centre then after graduating, with Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor MOS9 in East Kilbride, Scotland. He gained experience of shift working, progressing to Senior Engineering and then Management. With responsibilities of both Process and Equipment Engineering teams in Diffusion, Probe & Final Operations, Thin Films & Implant and Etch departments.
After leaving Freescale Semiconductors in 2009, Graeme joined Merpro/NOV in Montrose, Scotland in the Oil & Gas Topsides sector. Here he gained further financial and planning experience as an Engineering Project Manager responsible for projects worldwide.
